Student must identify one or more professors at the University of Alberta and contact them directly to find out whether they are willing and able to supervise a research project under the SEED program. Both graduate (Phd and Masters) as well as undergraduate (bachelors) degree program students are eligible.

 

Funding Provided:

• $8,700.00 (CAD) for undergraduates/graduates for 4 months research;
• $11,200.00 (CAD) for graduates for 5-6 months research; or
• $14,400.00 (CAD) for undergraduates for 8 months research.

The internal deadline for applications to this program is officially April 1.

The final Government of Canada deadline is April 17.
